Rodi Milici is a naturally grown, lively Sicilian village in the north of Sicily on a hill, between Milazzo and Tindari with approx. 2000 inhabitants.
The centre of the village is about 200 m away from the holiday complex.
Here you will find a well-stocked supermarket, butcher and baker, where people not only shop but also gossip and laugh.
Piazza Martino is the lifeline of the community. Here you can stop for a coffee, an aperitivo or a bite to eat in the bar "Rhodis", the news hub including a good pizzeria and restaurant as well as excellent ice cream and tartlets.
Just around the corner on the promenade you'll find another small bar with lots of sweet treats and a second very cosy ristorante "Borgo Antico" with lots of typical Sicilian delicacies and also super tasty pizzas from the wood-fired oven.
Tip: Be sure to try the pane fritto there for antipasto.
The post office, bank, pharmacy, tobacconist, florist and hairdresser are also just a few metres away.
So everything important in the village can be easily reached on foot.
In addition, every day our greengrocer jets through Rodi with his Ape (three-wheeled car), fully loaded with fresh fruit and vegetables from the region, where you can buy all the vitamins you need.
The most beautiful bathing beaches of the north coast of Sicily are about 4 km away and can be reached quickly by car.
Although Rodi is not a typical tourist town with souvenir shops and designer shops, you won't find yourself standing in front of closed shops and restaurant doors in the winter months and the pavements are not "folded up".
Here you can experience pure Sicilian everyday life 365 days a year.
